Sofascreen provides no content
Sofascreen is a player. It does not include, sell, host, stream, relay, index or recommend any channel, film, series or playlist. When someone watches something in Sofascreen, the video goes directly from the source they added to their own device; it does not pass through our servers.
The only thing we store is what users choose to sync to their account: the names and addresses of their playlists, their favourites and their progress. This data is private to each account. It is never published, listed or shared with other users.
Reporting unlawful content
If you hold rights in content and believe a Sofascreen account is used to access it unlawfully, write to hello@sofascreen.com with:
- your name, email address and, if you act for a rights holder, who you represent;
- the content concerned and the rights you hold in it;
- the exact address (URL) of the playlist or stream, so we can find it in synced data;
- why you consider it unlawful;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and complete, made in good faith.
What we do
- We confirm that we received your notice and handle it promptly.
- If the notice is valid, we remove the playlist concerned from the synced data of the accounts that hold it, and tell the account holder what we did and why. They can answer and contest the decision by writing to us.
- We suspend or close accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices.
- We tell you what we decided.
We cannot remove content from other companies’ servers. To have a stream taken down, contact the service or host that distributes it.
Point of contact
